Children's Day
Children's Day is celebrated on November 14 every year in India as a mark of respect to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the country's first Prime Minister. While the International or World Children’s Day is celebrated on November 20, the day is celebrated in India on November 14 to commemorate the memory of India’s first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, or as famously called – Chacha Nehru. Pandit Nehru was fondly known as 'Chacha Nehru' among kids. He had a special liking towards kids and was really fond of them. Therefore, a resolution was passed in the Parliament after his death in 1964 and it was decided that Children's Day will be celebrated in India on November 14 every year as a mark of respect to him.

Today will be remembered as a golden day in the history of BMM II TRAINING COLLEGE as we were able to plan and execute the International science day celebration. Our hard work, prayers, and planning for the one last month have now made a historic and proud day for us. We were able to arrange an international day celebration incorporating student teachers from various colleges all over Kerala. Indeed, it was successful throughout from the inception of online meetings till the end of online competitions. I extend my sincere thanks and love to each and everyone who stood with us, for guiding us, and for the remarkable teamwork.
Workshop On Music
Our college organized a one day workshop on music as a part of EDU 301.3, art and aesthetic education. The resource person was Dr. Thottam Bhuvanachandran Nair. He is a poet, author, creative speaker, and drama researcher. He received a Ph.D. in literature and theatre art in 1995. He wrote many books, one among them is "Rithumozhi". He also received many awards like a special jury award for the best lyricist in 2010. The class was inevitable as it emphasizes the importance of inculcating music into our classrooms. Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and mind work together. Sir's class was an eye-opening session for those who don't know the concept "Correlation of music and science". The session started at 9:30am with an introductory class. The session halted at 1'o clock. His class was an all-round package of his
